Local Community Fund
- Three causes are selected to receive Local Community Fund donations within each local community
- Co-op members donate 1p from every £1 spent in Co-op Funeralcare and food stores to their chosen local cause
- Local Community Fund applications from local causes for specific projects are open until midnight on Sunday 29th May 2022
- Funding is awarded for specific shed projects which benefits groups of people
- Apply online at https://causes.coop.co.uk and you’ll find out if you’re successful in October 2022
- Criteria for causes wishing to apply for the next round of the Local Community Fund include:
Food Share Partnership
- Any unsold food can be donated from local Co-op food stores to a Men’s Shed on a daily basis
- Food can be donated on specific days to meet the Shed’s requirements
- Type of foods include fresh fruit, vegetables, bakery, dairy etc.
- Donated food can be used in the Shed or passed onto Shed members e.g. food donation table
