The SMSA arranges in-person and virtual events including their AGM, gatherings, regional Shed Network Meetings, guest speakers and the ‘Scottish Men’s Shed of the Year Awards’ to get members together. Once dates and information are confirmed, all event details will be posted here.
SMSA Events
- SMSA National Gathering, AGM & Awards event – Friday 3rd October 2025 from 9am to 5pm at Perth & Kinross Council Chambers and Civic Hall, 2 High Street, PH1 5PH
- SMSA Scottish Men’s Shed – Open Doors Day – Annual event for participating Scottish Men’s Sheds on the 19th November each year
- Shedwise – Preventative men’s health sessions delivered in your Shed
Upcoming Regional Shed Network Meetings
The Scottish Men’s Sheds Association (SMSA) facilitate and/or attend Regional Shed Network Meetings across Scotland to connect, support, share and learn
- Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire – Tuesday 7th October 2025 at Banff and Macduff Men’s Shed from 10am. Aboyne Men’s Shed will host the meeting in March 2026.
- Perth & Kinross (Shed-Wise workshop) – Tuesday 11th November 2025 at Kinross & District Men’s Shed from 10am
- Moray – Tuesday 25th November 2026 at Finechty Men’s Shed from 10am
Regional meetings take place for: Aberdeen City/Aberdeenshire; Angus and Dundee; Ayrshire; Fife; Forth Valley; Highlands and Islands; Greater Glasgow and Clyde; Lothians; Perth and Kinross; and Scottish Borders
