The SMSA has teamed up with Thyme Accountants to provide Shed Members with a tailored accounts package at a discounted monthly rate of £30.
The package includes:
- online Freeagent accounting software, fully customised for your Shed and ready to link in easily to your year-end accounts
- full support from a qualified external charity accountant – ideal for new Shed Treasurers and those unfamiliar with OSCR requirements
- the opportunity to learn new skills through regular financial training for Treasurers and Trustees (face to face and online)
- a discounted monthly fee of only £30 (70% discount for SMSA Shed Members)
- accurate and reliable accounting records – checked at least monthly by an external accountant
- year-end accounts prepared in relevant OSCR format
- independent examination of year-end accounts and report thereon
- benchmarking against other Sheds
- ensuring your Trustees comply with the fit and proper requirements of charity accounting
