The NHS has several charity grant programmes for community groups, often run by different bodies like NHS Charities Together. These grants support projects that improve community health and wellbeing, often focusing on specific areas like community mental health, and access to nature.

The Trust aims to support smaller charities and good causes in Scotland to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet through, for example: improving green spaces and increasing access to the outdoors; enabling participation in physical activity and the arts; and improving biodiversity and responding to the climate emergency

The Scottish Building Society Foundation will aim to invest in the long-term future of communities in Scotland. They are looking to provide financial support to charities and community groups. For example, funding has gone towards community facilities, community development, open spaces, tool libraries and community events etc.

Scottish Community Alliance Partnership with the SMSA

The SCA‘s Community Learning Exchange is an opportunity for Sheds to visit fellow Sheds or community groups and learn from their experience.

The programme funds 100% of travel and subsistence expenses (up to £1,000) including a fee for the host organisation that you want to visit. Funding is also available to develop and deliver a virtual learning experience. Hundreds of communities have already taken advantage of this opportunity.
