SMSA at the CRA Awards 2025

SMSA CEO Jason Schroeder was honoured to attend the Concrete Repair Association (CRA) Awards 2025 at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on the 11th December 2025 as one of their chosen charity partners for this year’s ceremony—an unforgettable evening celebrating excellence, innovation and sustainability in concrete repair.
The event celebrates excellence in concrete repair, with entries judged on technical achievement and sustainability – as well as giving back by supporting two charities: the SMSA and Glasgow Women’s Aid. As part of this partnership, the CRA will be making a donation to the SMSA and guests contributed through fundraising activities on the evening.
A huge thank you goes to Mackenzie Construction—and especially Mark Brown—for putting the SMSA forward as one of the chosen charities. As the main sponsor of the awards, MacKenzie Construction played a key role in making this partnership happen, and we’re incredibly grateful for their backing.
On the night, guests took part in a fantastic charity auction featuring brilliant prizes — from rounds of golf, signed memorabilia and high teas to luxury dining experiences. And funds raised will go towards supporting the essential work carried out by the SMSA and Glasgow Women’s Aid.
We’re truly appreciative of the CRA’s commitment to philanthropy and for welcoming us as a charity partner. It was a wonderful evening that not only celebrated industry excellence, but also uplifted causes that make a real difference in communities.
Thank you to everyone who supported the event—your generosity helps keep the lights on at Shed HQ so we can keep supporting the Scottish Men’s Sheds Movement.
